Inventory Items
View and manage all products you're tracking in inventory. The Items page displays your complete product inventory with stock levels, locations, and statuses.
Navigate to Inventory → Items from the sidebar.
Page Controls
| Control | Description |

| Search bar | Search by product name or code |
| + Create New Item | Add a new product to inventory (top right) |
| Export | Download inventory data as a file |
| Refresh | Reload the inventory list |
Filter Tabs
Filter the inventory list by stock status using the tabs at the top:
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| All Items | Show all inventory items (default) |
| Reorder Required | Items that need to be reordered |
| Low Stock | Items below minimum stock threshold |
| Out of Stock | Items with zero quantity available |
Table Columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Product | Product name |
| Code | Product code or SKU |
| Current Stock | Available quantity in stock |
| Location | Storage location (e.g., Warehouse A, Warehouse B) |
| Status | Stock level indicator — In Stock (green), Low Stock (orange), or Out of Stock (red) |
| Created | Date and time the item was added to inventory |
| Updated | Date and time the item was last updated |
| Actions | Adjust Stock (sliders), Edit (pencil), and Delete (trash) icons |
Stock Status Indicators
| Status | Color | Description |
|---|---|---|
| In Stock | Green | Product has adequate stock levels above minimum threshold |
| Low Stock | Orange | Product is below minimum stock threshold — order soon |
| Out of Stock | Red | Product has zero quantity — cannot fulfill orders |
Row Actions
| Icon | Action |
|---|---|
| Sliders (Adjust Stock) | Open the Adjust Stock dialog to add or reduce stock |
| Pencil (Edit) | Edit the inventory item details |
| Trash (Delete) | Delete the inventory item (shows a confirmation prompt) |
Creating an Inventory Item
- Click + Create New Item (top right)
- Select the product from your product catalog
- Enter the initial stock quantity
- Set the minimum stock level
- Specify the storage location
- Click Save to add the item
Only products that don't already have an inventory record can be added. Create the product first in the Products module if it doesn't exist.
Editing an Inventory Item
- Find the item in the list (use search or filters)
- Click the Edit icon (pencil) in the Actions column
- Update the item details
- Click Save to apply changes
Don't change current stock quantity through edit. Use Stock Adjustments to change quantities — this maintains proper transaction history.
Export
Click Export to download the inventory list. Useful for:
- Stock audits and physical verification
- Reporting and analysis
- Sharing inventory data with team members
