Table Selection

The Table Selection page displays all restaurant tables in a grid layout. View table availability, occupancy status, and quickly take orders for any table.

Navigate to Table Selection from the sidebar under Hotel Orders.

Table Status Legend

The top of the page shows the status legend with color indicators:

StatusColorDescription
AvailableGreenTable is free and ready for new customers
OccupiedRedTable is currently in use with an active order
CleaningYellowTable is being cleaned and will be available shortly

Table Grid

Tables are displayed as numbered cards in a grid layout. Each table card shows:

Table NumberTable identifier (e.g., 01, 02, 03, ...)
CapacityNumber of seats — shown with person icons (e.g., 2-seater, 4-seater)
LocationTable location — e.g., Window Side, Center, Garden View
Status IndicatorColor-coded top border — green (Available), red (Occupied), yellow (Cleaning)
Action ButtonTake Order (green) for available tables, or Modify Order for occupied tables

Table Locations

Tables are organized by their physical location in the restaurant:

Window SideTables positioned near windows
CenterTables in the center of the dining area
Garden ViewTables with a view of the garden area

Taking an Order

  1. Browse the table grid to find an Available (green) table
  2. Click the Take Order button on the desired table
  3. You will be redirected to the Create New Order page with the table pre-selected
  4. Add items to the order and submit

Use the Refresh button to get the latest table statuses, especially during busy hours when tables are frequently changing status.
