Partywise Profit & Loss
The Partywise Profit & Loss report shows profit and loss grouped by each party (customer). Use it to identify your most and least profitable customers.
Navigate to Accounting → Reports and click the Partywise Profit & Loss card.
Page Controls
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| From | Start date for the reporting period (DD-MM-YYYY) |
| To | End date for the reporting period (DD-MM-YYYY) |
| Generate | Generate the report for the selected date range |
Summary Cards
Four summary cards are displayed at the top after generating the report:
| Card | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Revenue | Total income from all parties during the period (₹) |
| Cost of Goods | Total cost of goods/services across all parties (₹) |
| Gross Profit | Total Revenue minus Cost of Goods (₹) |
| Profit Margin | Overall profit margin percentage (%) |
Party Summary
The table header shows the total party count (e.g., "PARTY SUMMARY (3 PARTIES)").

| Party / Customer | Customer name (e.g., XYZ Retail Solutions, Premium Enterprises, ABC Technologies Pvt Ltd) |
| Invoices | Number of invoices for the customer |
| Revenue | Total revenue from the customer (₹) |
| Cost | Total cost of goods/services for the customer (₹) |
| Gross Profit | Revenue minus Cost for the customer (₹) |
| Margin % | Profit margin percentage for the customer (%) |
The table supports pagination with configurable Items per page (e.g., 1, 5, 10).
How to Use
- Navigate to Reports from the sidebar
- Click the Partywise Profit & Loss card
- Set the From and To dates to define the reporting period
- Click Generate to load the report
- Review the summary cards for overall profitability
- Analyze the Party Summary table to compare profitability across customers
- Identify customers with low or negative margins for pricing review

Use this report alongside the Billwise Profit & Loss report to drill down from customer-level profitability to individual invoice-level details.
