Create New Order

Create a new hotel order for a selected table. Browse products by category, add items, and submit the order to the kitchen.

Order Header
| Campo | Descrizione |

| Table Number | Selected table (e.g., T1) — shown with table indicator |
| Location | Table location (e.g., Window Side) |
| Order Type | Toggle between Dine and Take Away |
Product Search
The left panel displays the product catalog for adding items to the order:

| Search bar | Search by name, ID, or group |
| Category sections | Products grouped by category — e.g., Electronics, Office Supplies, Software & Services |
Product Cards
Each product is displayed as a card showing:

| Product Name | Name of the item (e.g., Wireless Mouse, USB Keyboard) |
| Stock indicator | Stock availability — In Stock (green), Low Stock (orange), Out of Stock (red) |
| Price | Unit price (₹) |
Click a product card to add it to the order. Items with Out of Stock status are highlighted in red.
Order Items
The right panel shows items added to the current order:

Items count and total are shown at the bottom left (e.g., "2 Items = ₹1,298.00").
Order Summary

| Notes (optional) | Free text field for special instructions, dietary requirements, or kitchen notes |
Action Buttons
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| Create Order | Submits the order to the kitchen — appears on the Kitchen Dashboard |
| Cancel | Discards the order and returns to Table Selection |
After Submitting
- The order is sent to the Kitchen Dashboard under Pending Orders
- The table status changes to Occupied (red) on the Table Selection page
- The order can be modified by clicking Modify Order on the table card
