Payments in LKG for Billing are recorded against invoices:
- Each invoice tracks its payment status independently
- Partial payments update the invoice to PartiallyPaid
- Full payment updates invoice to Paid
- Split payments across methods show SplitPayment status
💳 Payment Methods

| UPI | GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, or any UPI app |
| Bank Transfer | NEFT, RTGS, or IMPS |

- Always record the reference number (UTR for bank transfers, transaction ID for UPI) for reconciliation
- Record payments on the same day for accurate cash flow reports
- For cheques, record the payment on the date the cheque clears
