Employee Dashboard
The Employee Dashboard provides an at-a-glance overview of your workforce metrics, attendance status, and quick access to employee management actions.
Navigate to Employee Management → Dashboard from the sidebar.
Summary Cards
Five summary cards are displayed at the top:
| Card | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Employees | All staff members — total number of employees |
| Active Employees | Currently working — count of active employees |
| On Leave | Away from work — count of employees currently on leave |
| Pending Expenses | Awaiting approval — count of expense claims pending review |
| Today's Attendance | Checked in today — count of employees who have checked in |
Quick Actions
A set of action buttons for fast access to common employee management tasks:
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| View | Navigate to the full employee list |
| Attendance | Open attendance marking and tracking |
| Payroll | Navigate to payroll processing |
| Expenses | Manage employee expense claims |
Recent Employees
A table showing the most recently added employees:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Employee name with profile avatar |
| Department | Department the employee belongs to (e.g., Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance) |
| Status | Employment status badge — Active (green) |
