Kitchen Dashboard

The Kitchen Dashboard displays all active orders for the kitchen staff, organized by preparation stage. Track order status, confirm orders, and mark them as ready for serving.

Navigate to Kitchen Dashboard from the sidebar under Hotel Orders.

Order Sections

The dashboard is organized into three sections based on order progress:

Pending Orders

New orders waiting to be confirmed by the kitchen. Each order card shows:

Table NumberTable identifier with icon (e.g., Table T2, Table 01)
Time BadgeTime since order was placed (e.g., "0 min ago", "1m ago") — New badge for fresh orders
Item ListNumbered list of ordered items (e.g., 1. A4 Paper Ream, 1. Wireless Mouse, 2. USB Keyboard)
ConfirmGreen button — accept the order and move to preparation
CancelRed button — reject/cancel the order

In Preparation

Orders that have been confirmed and are currently being prepared:

Table NumberTable identifier (e.g., Table T1)
Time BadgeTime since order was placed (e.g., "15 min ago") — New badge
Item ListNumbered list of items being prepared
Mark ReadyGreen button — mark the order as ready for serving

Ready for Serving

Orders that are prepared and waiting to be served to the table.

When no orders are ready, a checkmark icon is displayed with the message "No orders ready for serving".

How to Use

  1. Navigate to Kitchen Dashboard from the sidebar
  2. View incoming orders in the Pending Orders section
  3. Click Confirm to accept an order and move it to In Preparation
  4. Click Cancel to reject an order if needed
  5. Once all items are prepared, click Mark Ready to move the order to Ready for Serving
  6. Waitstaff serves the order to the table
tip

Keep the Kitchen Dashboard open on a dedicated screen in the kitchen for real-time order tracking. The status indicators at the top right show the count of orders in each stage.
