Table Selection
The Table Selection page ("Select Table") displays all restaurant tables in a grid layout. View table availability, occupancy status, and quickly take orders or bill any table.
Navigate to Hotel Orders → Table Selection from the sidebar.
Status Legend
The top of the page shows an icon legend:
| Icon | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 🧍 (single figure) | Available | Table is free and ready for new customers |
| 👥 (group figure) | Occupied | Table currently has an active order |
Table Grid
Tables are displayed as numbered cards in a grid layout. Each table card shows:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Table Number | Table identifier (e.g., 01, 02, 03, ...) |
| Status Icon | Single-figure icon for Available, group-figure icon for Occupied |
| Order Count Badge | Red badge with a number, shown on Occupied tables with pending order items |
| Location | Table location — e.g., Window Side, Center, Garden View |
| Status Label | AVAILABLE (green text) or OCCUPIED (red text) |
| Action Buttons | Take Order (blue) always shown; Mark for Bill (green) shown in addition for Occupied tables |
Table Locations
Tables are organized by their physical location in the restaurant:
| Location | Description |
|---|---|
| Window Side | Tables positioned near windows |
| Center | Tables in the center of the dining area |
| Garden View | Tables with a view of the garden area |
Taking an Order
- Browse the table grid to find an Available table
- Click the Take Order button on the desired table
- You will be redirected to the Create New Order page with the table pre-selected
- Add items to the order and submit
Table Actions
| Button | Shown On | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Take Order | All tables | Opens the order creation page for this table (adds to the existing order if already Occupied) |
| Mark for Bill | Occupied tables only | Opens the order for billing/checkout |
