Add a User
From the User Roles page (Administration → User Roles), click Add User to open the Add New User dialog — "Create a user account with role and branch access." The dialog has three tabs: Single User, Import from File and From Employee.
Single User
Create one user by entering their details directly.

What this screen shows: a form to create a single login. Required fields are
marked with a red *.
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| First Name | ✅ | User's first name |
| Last Name | ✅ | User's last name |
| Phone Number | ✅ | Contact number with country code (e.g. +91 India) |
| Email Address | ✅ | Login email for the user |
| Password | ✅ | Minimum 8 characters — use Generate Password to create a strong one, and the eye icon to show/hide it |
| Branch Access | — | Which branch(es) the user can access — All Branches or a specific branch |
| Assign Role | ✅ | Pick one or more roles from the chips (Admin, Invoice User, Accountant, Inventory Manager, Hotel Bearer, Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacy Manager, …) |
Click Create User to add them, or Cancel to close without saving.
From Employee
Create a login for someone who already exists as an employee — no need to re-type their details.

What this screen shows: a searchable list of your employees. Search by
name, code, email or phone, then pick an employee card (each shows their
employee code, e.g. EMP001, their designation, e.g. Senior Developer,
and their email). Selecting an employee pre-fills the new user from that
employee's record; then set the role/branch and click Create User.
Use From Employee to give existing staff a login without entering their name, email and phone again — it keeps the employee and user records in sync.
Import from File
Create many users at once from a spreadsheet.

- Drop an Excel or CSV file, or click Browse File (supported:
.xlsx,.xls,.csv). - The file must have the columns: Full Name, Phone Number, Email, Roles (comma-separated).
- Click Download Template to get a correctly formatted file to fill in.
- Click Import Users to create everyone in the file.
